Hotel Dupond-Smith

The location of Hotel Dupont Smith is ideal. Although it is a short walk to some of the sights the best was to see Paris is on foot. That said the Metro is a five minute walk so Paris is easily accessible. The Marais area, in which the hotel is located, is welcoming and friendly and there is plenty there to see and do with a great variety of restaurants. The Hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the staff will do all they can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible - we could not have asked for more. Hotel Dupond-Smith will be the first place we would look to book when we return to Paris

Nothing is too much trouble; their warmth and attention to detail set the tone for the entire stay. Freshly baked cookies welcome you back each afternoon, a simple but thoughtful touch that perfectly captures the spirit of the place. Hotel Dupond Smith is a shining example of what true five-star service means — not measured in grandeur, pomp, or ceremony, but in understanding what travelers really need: comfort, calm, and a genuine sense of being looked after. If you’re searching for a large, cosmopolitan hotel with bustling lobbies and conference rooms, this isn’t the place for you. But if you value classic French boutique style, a warm welcome, and a sense of effortless luxury, Hotel Dupond Smith is simply perfect.

This is among the best hotels we’ve stayed in. We opted for a suite and did not regret our decision, as the seating area allowed us to sprawl and lounge after active days in the city. Despite being on level 1 (second floor to us Americans), the room was very quiet; however, we enjoyed opening the windows while in the seating area to listen to the hum and heartbeat of the city. The room was thoughtfully laid out. The location is terrific in Le Marais, with easy access to Metro and easy walking distance to Île de la Cité. The staff was especially helpful and we enjoyed breakfast served daily in our room. There are only 8 rooms in the hotel, so it is intimate and personal.

It was a perfect location to see all of the main tourist attractions . The hotel team were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble; they made our first visit to Paris a breeze , with recommendations for restaurants, directions and best ways to travel. We stayed in a suite with a terrace which was lovely . The toiletries were so delightful that I ordered some for delivery to home to bring me a little reminder of our wonderful stay for months to come .

We were warmly welcomed by Nicolas—the rest of the staff during our stay were amazing. The location is great and the room was so comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast in the cozy dining room and all the extra special touches (warm baked treats each night). Really enjoyed the big soaking tub!
